Linda is the executive chairman of our board. She is currently an assistant general counsel for Accident Fund Holdings and a mediator on the panel for USA & M. Prior to her current position, Linda was a Vice President and Regional Managing Attorney for Zurich Financial Group. She is an active participant in her community and has served in various capacities, including Adjunct Professor of Law St. Louis University (1999-2003), executive board member for the Lawyer Association of St. Louis (1992-2002), past president of the Lawyers Association of St. Louis (1992-2002), Director Parkway School District (2001-2004), Director of the Cooperating School District of St. Louis County (2003-2004), Board Member of the Law Library Association of St. Louis (2001 – 2007) and a executive board member of original A Place To Turn To (2009-2016). Linda is dedicated to continuing the mission of Jan Cloninger, the founder of the original 501 (c) A Place To Turn To. Jan’s vision to help others is the inspiration and guiding force in our commitment to move forward providing a caring and loving place for patients and families to heal while undergoing treatment at Siteman Cancer Center.
Ellen is our primary patient care coordinator. Through her job as a stem cell transplant nurse at Barnes, Ellen helps coordinate all of our patient stays. Ellen is very passionate about her job and her dedication makes her the perfect point of contact for patients and their families.
Gina is the head of our patient welcoming committee. She has personally furnished all of our apartments, and is in charge of making all of our accommodations as comfortable as possible for patients and their families. Gina also provides a welcoming kit to each family. Similar to her daughter Ellen, Gina brings amazing care and compassion to our team, helping to make the lives of all our patients better during their stays.
George is our communications director. Along with Ellen, George is the main point of contact for patients and their families during their stay at one of our properties. George brings vast mechanical knowledge to our team. In addition to being the main point of contact for patients and their families George is in charge of maintenance for all of our properties. He keeps all of our units in tip-top working order. George is recently retired after working 35 years in the automotive industry.
Samuel is the chief technology officer of APTTT. Sam brings over 12 years of experience in the IT industry to our team. He is responsible for running all technical aspects of our day to day operations, from maintaining our online payment system to handling our accounting. Prior to joining APTTT Sam was co-owner of Altec Design, a website design studio located in St. Louis Missouri.
